If the water temperature drops too low, the lake can even be heated.

Distance: 16km
It’s an impressive natural monument and the widest waterfall in the Eastern Alps. Depending on the season, it’s either a thin trickle of water (in autumn) or a wide, two-tiered waterfall (in early summer). Generally, it’s 180 metres high and 85 metres wide. The waterfall is a 15-minute walk away from the Grawa Alm hut car park. When the sun is just right, the little water droplets create a rainbow!
The ice grotto on the Stubai Glacier
Distance: 18km
A fascinating world of fissures, moulins, and moraines, deep in the eternal ice. You can visit the 150-metre-long ice cave yourself: Admire the gleaming blue walls made of pure ice – on average between 400 to 500 years old – and the little air bubbles trapped in them. The grotto has a constant temperature of zero degrees Celsius in both summer and winter. For children, there’s a special side passage with exciting highlights.
The “Top of Tyrol” viewing platform

It’s located at a spectacular 3,210 metres above sea level and offers a 360° view that reaches all the way to the Dolomites in good weather conditions.
